Big Ten’s lacking NBA Talent

The deadline for early entrants to declare for the NBA draft was yesterday. Andy Katz did a great job profiling who’s ‘gone’ and who’s ‘testing’ from each team here.

46 underclassmen have thrown their names out there for the NBA draft. 15 of them are definitely gone and have hired an agent. Eric Gordon of Indiana is the only Big Ten underclassmen to hire an agent. 31 other players have thrown their name into the pool, but have not hired an agent, allowing the opportunity to bail on the NBA and return to school. Kosta Koufos of Ohio State is the only Big Ten player in that group.

Not such a great showing by a big time conference.
